Dr. Soumya Soman M K is a highly skilled Urologist and General Surgeon with extensive training in advanced urological care and minimally invasive techniques. With a strong academic and research background, she brings specialised expertise in complex urological procedures to her practice at Sunrise — including three years of extensive, direct hands-on experience performing almost all types of urological and general surgeries at Aster Medcity, Kochi.

Dr. Soumya completed her DrNB in Urology at Aster Medcity, Kochi, following her DNB and MS in General Surgery at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. Her career has taken her across several leading institutions in Kerala — including a tenure as Assistant Professor of General Surgery at Government Medical College, Alappuzha, and as Consultant Surgeon at Assisi Atonement Hospital, Kollam — building a depth of clinical experience that spans both academic and high-volume surgical practice.

Her areas of expertise span endourology and stone surgery, female urology, minimally invasive and robotic surgical interventions, and the surgical management of prostate conditions.
