Treatments and procedures

01

MRI — Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Detailed, radiation-free imaging that uses magnetic fields to capture clear pictures of organs, joints, and soft tissue, helping doctors diagnose a wide range of conditions accurately.

02

CT Scan — Including Cardiac CT & Volume CT

Advanced cross-sectional imaging that provides highly detailed views of internal structures, including specialised Cardiac CT and Volume CT for precise, non-invasive heart and body assessment.

03

X-Ray

A quick, widely used imaging test for examining bones, chest, and other internal structures, often the first step in diagnosing fractures, infections, and many common conditions.

04

Ultrasound — Including 3D/4D and Colour Doppler

Safe, real-time imaging using sound waves, including advanced 3D and 4D scans and Colour Doppler studies, used widely in pregnancy monitoring and assessment of blood flow.

05

DEXA Scan — Bone Density

A quick, low-radiation scan that measures bone mineral density, helping diagnose osteoporosis early and assess a patient's risk of fracture before it becomes a serious concern.

06

Mammography

Specialised breast imaging used for early detection of breast abnormalities, playing a vital role in routine screening and helping identify changes well before symptoms appear.

07

Fluoroscopy

Real-time X-ray imaging used to observe moving internal structures, helping guide certain procedures and diagnostic studies that require continuous visual monitoring.

08

Interventional Radiology

Minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and treat a range of conditions, offering an effective alternative to open surgery with faster recovery times.

09

Foetal Medicine — 3D/4D Ultrasound

Specialised prenatal imaging using advanced 3D and 4D ultrasound technology, allowing detailed monitoring of foetal growth and development throughout the course of pregnancy.

10

Radiology-Guided Biopsies

Precise, image-guided tissue sampling procedures that allow accurate diagnosis with minimal discomfort, helping identify the exact nature of a suspicious growth or abnormality

Most MRI scans take between 20–60 minutes depending on the area being examined. You will be asked to lie still inside the scanner — it is painless and uses no radiation.

CT scans use low-dose X-ray radiation and are very safe for the vast majority of patients. Your doctor will only recommend a CT when the clinical benefit outweighs the minimal radiation risk.

A DEXA scan measures bone mineral density and is used to diagnose osteoporosis and assess fracture risk. It is quick, painless, and uses a very low dose of radiation.

Some scans — particularly abdominal ultrasounds and certain CT and MRI scans with contrast — require fasting. Your radiology team will provide specific preparation instructions when you book your scan.
